A personal and intimate path to cultivating Yoga within.

All levels welcome, this class is for the beginner and advanced practitioner alike. Named after the city in South India where Krishnamacharya and Jois lived, this is the original way of learning yoga asana.

It is a special class too. Learning the yoga postures in your own pace, we cultivate individual responsibility for our own practice with individual attention, support and help by your teacher. It is perhaps the only way that the more advanced asanas or postures can be learned safely, with proper skill and dedication. By committing yourself fully to one yoga style, one teaching method and a regular practice, you open the door to deeper levels of your body, mind and spirit.

In the space between the teacher and the student, learning happens. In the mysore style method of practice, you have the unique opportunity to experience this level.

We request that new students without a regular ashtanga practice (having part of the primary series memorized) commit to at least one month at a minimum of three times per week.

Please be advised that we occasionally offer workshops in the time slot between our morning mysore sessions. ( 8-10am).
