Yoga Drills Teacher Training with Kino MacGregor

January, 18- 22, 2027
In-person at Miami Life Center

Refine your practice and expand your teaching through 10 hours of in-depth instruction with Kino MacGregor. This immersive training combines intelligent yoga drills across mobility, flexibility, strength training, conditioning, handstands, backbends, hip opening, and more. Grounded in a clear understanding of anatomy and biomechanics, you will learn how each movement pattern builds the specific capacities the body needs to progress safely and sustainably.

At the heart of this training is a single skill: learning to break down every asana into its component drills. When you understand the architecture of a posture, how the joints articulate, which muscles support the shape, and where stability and range are built, you can meet any body where it is. This is what makes the practice truly accessible and adaptable, whether you are working with a beginner, a seasoned practitioner, or your own evolving edge.

Open to dedicated students, teachers, and practitioners of all levels seeking to deepen their understanding of movement and the Ashtanga method.

Schedule

January, 18- 22, 2027

Monday- Friday
1:00 - 3:00 pm

Upon completing the 10 hours of instruction, you have the option to earn a Yoga Drills Accreditation at American Yoga Council. To be accredited, you will develop a 30 to 60 minute yoga drills class of your own design and teach your class live on Zoom through Omstars as a free community class, scheduled and offered to the global Omstars community. This gives you real teaching experience and a platform to share your work with practitioners around the world. Kino will personally review your class, offer feedback, and approve your accreditation.

Accreditation is optional. If you choose not to pursue it, you are welcome to complete the training for your own practice and growth. Only those seeking accreditation need to develop, submit, and teach a class.
